Terms of Service
General terms for website use and project enquiries. Project-specific terms belong in an agreed proposal.

Scope and proposals
Website descriptions are general information. A project begins only when The Scrape Lab and the customer agree in writing on scope, sources, fields, volume, delivery, timing, fees, and responsibilities.
Lawful and authorised use
Customers must use services and delivered data lawfully and must have the rights and authority needed for supplied credentials, private sources, personal data, and requested uses. The Scrape Lab may decline work involving access-control bypass, unlawful collection, or unsuitable targets.
Third-party websites and platforms
Source websites and platforms can change, restrict access, remove records, or become unavailable. Apify and other platform usage charges are separate unless a proposal states otherwise. The Scrape Lab does not own or control third-party source websites.
Delivery and data accuracy
Scraped data reflects information observed on source pages at collection time. Availability, completeness, and field accuracy depend on the source. Listing prices are asking prices unless expressly described otherwise. Acceptance checks, correction periods, formats, and delivery methods should be set in the project proposal.
Custom code, hosting, and maintenance
Ownership, licence, handover, deployment location, hosting costs, maintenance, and response to source changes are agreed per project. Ongoing maintenance is included only when the proposal says so.
Payment, cancellation, and refunds
Fees, payment dates, deposits, cancellation rights, and any refund terms are defined in the accepted proposal or invoice. Work already completed and third-party charges may remain payable where permitted.
Availability and liability
No scraper, dataset, API, or third-party source is guaranteed to remain continuously available. Any warranties, liability limits, exclusions, or service levels must be stated in the applicable agreement and are subject to law.
